|Well while generally speaking i liked this manga, characters seemed good but there is one but, I came to realization that Male Lead is an utter garbage...In spoiler section i will thoroughly explain with some chapter references why he is bad not like fictional character but as a real human being.

Story 8/10

Well it has(had) some nice comedy elements but they start to grow dull when you understand serious note is mixed up with comedy while it should have it's charm but the comedy is childish. World building well it's was a nice breeze of something new (and not so new), medieval fantasy setting with more elements based on other side (demi humans). While we have encounters with humans they are mostly shown the ugly side the endless discrimination towards demi humans and etc.
Story starts of with our ML being sent to other world by god of Moon, she gave him her blessing and sent him to other world god who quickly insults him by calling him ugly and saying she doesn't need him, she gives him her blessing (power to speak to demi humans but not humans) and orders him not to mingle with beautiful races (humans and elves i presume) and ports him to the edge of world.......
All in all set and setting is good and relaxing there no unnecessary drama or even if there is it is quickly resolved but the biggest hurdle in this story is our ML who treats everything like a child or person playing a game. World setting is a fight humans against demons with heroes and other fantasy isekai manga troupes though it has some uniqueness to it and definitely was interesting for me even after a lot of other isekai mangas.
While the story and world looks quite grimm with a lot of devious stuff shown to reader we see our ML trying to throw dust of virtue to us but his virtue signalling is nothing more than a child with godlike powers who doesn't understand a thing about world around and tries to project his world view all around while he thinks that he is integrating.
As for others support and background characters they seem like more human or at least with more processing power even though they have face value shortcomings shown to us unlike ML who has a lot of shortcomings but they are deep very deep and wide.
It's like author created a great story with a lot of potential then placed a turd in the middle and called it ML, it has only one objective smear everything it sees.

Art 7/10

Well while characters themselves were drawn mostly accurately and detailed author decided to make almost everything humanoid, background wise well there were moderate amounts of blanks (black and white voids). Panel placement and speech bubbles up to standards no confusion was found

Characters 6/10

Well here we have a biggest minus of this manga and this is our ML, indecisive, kind, dumb, naive, arrogant(later on), oblivious and actually bad personality if you delve deeper on analysis in spoiler section i will devout everything about him and other 2 heroes in retrospect. This ML is basically dragging the whole manga through mud if author would make somebody more realistic or less childish maybe this manga would be in my personal top but when such a weak character play the Main....well he simply drags everything to the bottom.
Next we have 2 other heroes whose flaws are shown right at the start as we meet them, while they do have flaws you see them grow or descend, trying to mend their flaws or open them wider, thinking of something smart or plainly cowardly but they seemed to be more up to their ages and human with some realistic views on a new world so at some point it was more interesting to follow around other heroes or supports than our ML.
Supports are actually playing a big role in this manga, they scheme, they find solutions they live in this world. Our ML supporting cast is amazing and feels like their loyalty is misplaced our MC has absurd amounts of mana but other than that he seems unremarkable basically everything is done by supporting cast while ML is simply dragged by his fallowers while when he has some initiative childish and random at best, his kindness and ever forgiveness are annoying because it backfires the higher you go up the ladder of power + it's more annoying when you start to understand that he is actually tyrannical(there were signs).
Supports of other 2 heroes, well there is at least an objective explanation to their loyalty.
In conclusion the only *odd* element we see is our ML if he was different or would not exist i think story would be much better.

Enjoyment 6/10

I enjoyed it but I opened notepad every time i saw some idiocy from ML had to write which chapter and what exactly, i could not simply read and fully immerse myself because of that silly excuse of a human being other than that i didn't see anything so troubling..........so yeah i enjoyed it but there was quite a big thorn there.

Overall 7/10

Would i advice to read it? Yes, if you like isekai fantasy but if you hate undeserving, servile and plainly dumb Main Leads then stray away from this manga this manga basically was created for some hikikomori or cast from school to play with their ego and tell them a story about even if you utter nothing some magic stuff still happen to you.........SIMPLY F NO in order for something to change or good to happen to you, you should grown and change.

SPOLER ARERT BELOW---------------------------------------------------------------

Finally some real bashing before chapter 25 i was still ok with MC yes he still was bad for me but endurable but now we will a chapter breakdown:
Chapter 25-26 our main was ambushed and enemy tried to kill him, they even tried to coerce his servant well of course they did not succeed but after beating opponents they didn't kill anyone even spared them then helped the main ambusher to receive a pardon from influential merchant why the pardon? Well MC decided to help with a quest but apparently all adventurers had an agreement not to help that merchant (but our MC didn't know he was a new arrival to the town) so the main ambusher without talking or other means decided to ambush with intent of killing or injuring them all to teach them a lesson.
Next after breaking evil guys sword our MC decided to compensate with a dwarven rare and expensive sword.
Is this problem? Well yeah, think about if someone were to ambush you and your family members on picnic with intent to kill or injure and if you aren't strong enough they do just that, basically speaking moral of the story if you are a badie and you are beaten a good guy always will spare you and even give you a reward for being a baddie?!
Chapter 32 you how shounen like to be innocent well this shounen is close to seinen, but apparently it's shounen only around our MC around him we see plenty of seinen content, you know other hero who was summoned he is 15y old an already had sex but our MC is chaste he finds any reason not to go this side - followers=family, acquaintances=remind of girls of his world and so on, why i see a problem well shounen usually doesn't show and romance or explicit content or at the very least shows that everyone has it do a degree but our MC is like a UNICORN that shits shounen content all over the place.
chapter 37-38. Refusal to have sex but being slightly coerced by a*prostitute*(it's actually the opposite prostitute then refusal). Hey if you are almost an adult so if you have pent stuff going on help yourself or let others help you he seems like a child who experienced arousal for the first time. Next we have when he is attacked he doesn't shown any strength that he apparently has so what does he do?(remember he one punched a cerberus) Right flee, i'm not saying you should kill but block attacks and try talk to resolve and once again he is saved by his followers.
Chapter 40 Once again we see that someone planned to kill our MC but he still shrugged it off because he was unharmed and even invites those people to join his village.........What if someone was weaker than him? They would murder that person so he is apologetic to all kinds of scum of that world.
Chapter 41 Mc is being kind and diplomatic with a Lich that basically feeds of from living creatures and i presume tortured people too. Not even diplomatic but servile to a degree. What i noticed he tries to act all servile and kind to strangers who insult him or his followers but he can be stern and angry with his loyal followers ain't a bit hypocritical?
By now it is established that MC has low self esteem, naive, dumb, forgiving, kind while he seems to have libido he proactively rejects advances (except by 1), oblivious to feelings of others (lack of empathy) and timid. While he tries to uphold virtue his virtue doesn't discern between evil and good, for example if MC were to meet a maniac or pedophile after he defeats them and they suddenly change their ways he will send them off with expensive gift - It's shounen so demography wise it teaches kids to become idiots as they grow up to adulthood.
Chapter 41 page 6 Lich thinks "He even remembered a minor detail" needless glorifying meaning that wasn't a minor detail, considering that he killed a person right in front of your eyes someone who would forget after a few hours the reason for murder would be considered mentally challenged at the very least.
Humility and pride, pride well he doesn't have it as for humility well no he has slave mentality or a mentality of a child with a big sword who doesn't know a thing about swords.
Chapter 49 Refusal to kill murderers (killed bunch of people + a pregnant woman) it's basically like watching batman or superman, evil guys kill and injure people, good guy steps in puts them in prison, they break out and rinse and repeat.
Chapter 56 Doesn't try to convey correct words to end conflict, presumably has enough mana to match goddess but he could not defeat lvl 920 human (his followers 1320 and 1500 he defeated well at least he could hurt a dragon) eventually he defeats them but is severely damaged off and this happened because he was far away from his followers (because they usually resolve every problem).
Chapter 60 Merciful to bad people again and like he told to his follower "That was move by emotion(decision to save a girl) if you want to correct it you have to do it force(correct his behaviour), so he can be arrogant and knows he is powerful though he usually acts servile around strangers a garbage dumpster he is. A classical case of a grown up who bashes his family or at least acts bad around them while to the outsiders he is people pleaser.
The more i delve to analysis of this subject the more i feel like author actually orchestrated this or simply is oblivious to this frankenstein of creation of his.

First please forgive me for my bad grammar

i will not say my review will be spoiler free there might be some but i will keep in mind that i have as less spoilers as possible

First of all i really enjoyed this manga, so much that i read it twice.. but dropped it because of monthly update i will pick it up again after a year or so (though still waiting for new updates)

Story 8- i am really in love with another world story and stuff like summoning hero and reincarnation and i love this kind of story
its story about a guy who was summoned to be a hero for a goddess's world but she didn't like his looks and he wasn't that handsome or you can say not enough to be called a hero so goddess decide to toss him to the edge of the world ( he did got some power from another goddess ) some moments were really hilarious and few were really cool but i think it was balanced pretty well but the problem was that i can pretty much tell what will happen next there was no surprise at most of parts

Art 9 - many people didn't liked art of this manga but i seriously don't see any problems with it, you shouldn't every manga to have same kind of art
i might be not good enough to judge manga's art or it is good or not but i think it was pretty good... there was something special about it too.. you can see for youself :)

Character 9 - our main character's development was pretty good and there was few moments he had completely different air about him like being weak to op and kind to cruel something like that i am not saying he turned into a evil villain or something.. and about supporting character and other main characters i dont have much to say i didnt see much of development in them
our mc was just finding out new things about his servants

Enjoyment 10 - damn i wish i could find another one like this manga i really enjoyed it.. this manga had everything that i like if you have a manga similar to my taste please do suggest me
He was op
He had a little of cruel side to him too
he was kind to others
he was powerful but not arrogant
he was cool sometimes but funny too and serious
he had servants serving him but not blindly... they helped where he was lacking
supported him from behind scene

Overall 9 - what i can say you just read everything :)

Time for another review of what I think is a Manga that deserves some reviews.

Story 9/10. The story is that the MC is called into another world by two gods in order to serve as a hero, unfortunately the goddess of that world thinks him ugly and drops him at the edge of the world telling him to keep away from the humans. The other god grants him some power to survive and fight.

The story is told nicely, he gets dropped, wanders around and as you would expect, meets people. He learns magic from an orc settlement and decides to aid their problems by beating the cause.

In this story you will see the MC join both the Adventurers and Merchants guilds while helping people along the way with the aid of his two "servants."

Art 6/10. I do not really categorise art but immediately I realised I was unhappy with the style, still passable but not awe-inspiring, hence the six.

Characters 8/10. The three characters you will see in this Manga (so far) are the MC (Misumi Makoto). Tomoe (his first servant) and Mio (his second). Tomoe has the ability to read memories and so has fallen in love with the TV shows in his memory. Similarly, so has Mio.

Apart from their love for his memories the pair acknowledge his strength and because the MC allows non-human races to live in a "Mirage City" which only Tomoe can access they also respect his kindness.

The MC is proficient in handling archery and magic but as mentioned prior, he is also kind, kind enough to help save someones' older sister who was taken for failure to pay debts. The MC is also not arrogant over his strength, nor is he perverted.

Enjoyment 10/10. I read all chapters in one day, that speaks volume about how much it sucked me in.

Overall. 8/10. Overall its a very good Manga. Although it does appear to have lost sight of the original reason he was dropped into the world to begin with, there has yet to be any important character development moments which is unfortunate although it is early days yet.

Short review: a bit of Overlord + a tiny sprinkle of Shield Hero + standard Isekai

While this isekai has the normal premise of the MC being a young guy being sent to a new fantasy world by a god(s), it does flesh it out really well in a way I think does a good compromise on "lets not spend too much time on this" and the "give me an explanation". Which is sadly rare in many Isekai.

Sorry this review just focuses on a specific part of this manga that I found interesting, but there are a lot more things going on. The comedy is good, the side characters are funny and awesome, the world building is also alright. I think what sold me this Isekai, is that I actually don't like the personality of the MC very much (why are u so harsh to dragon-chan?), but as a character he is written really well compared to many other isekai protagonists...(like a realistic human or something?!).

(Minor Spoilers) The MC was apparently a long term loan from one world to another...the characters don't talk about it in that way BUT I DO! His parents are actually foreigners from the fantasy world he goes to, and they ended up settling down earth with a family. But in exchange they had to pay the price of selling one of their offspring off! Luckily the MC doesn't view it that way, so it's all good? The big idea here is that the MC is not good looking...he isn't really ugly but just below average. Unluckily for him, the world he is going to be transported to has a goddess who really values good looks. As a result in this new world, the humans are all good looking in our standards...so much so that our MC looks like a disgusting mix between a human and beast. So, while the god from earth was a nice guy that the MC adores, the goddess of this new world is not. She basically screws him a bit over by not allowing him to speak the common (human) language and sends him off to the edge of the world where all the non-human creatures live at.

Why did I think they pulled off the introduction so well? Well because the Isekai part doesn't end at the introduction. In fact the story continues forward with more bits of information about our MC's personality and his memories back on earth and all the relationships he had. So, while he is our standard OP, young Japanese, short black hair, MC...he is actually a somewhat realistic person who inside has to deal with some trouble.

Bizarre introduction and rather weak follow up,

That's what I want to comment about this manga. At first you'll introduced to an usual another world transfer thingy. Then crazy things would keep happening to our main character. I was really hyped at first few chapters. Who wouldn't want to have super beautiful attendants, great respects, OP ability? but rather than the MC itself, I'm more interested in his servants (sorry little spoiler here, you'll find them soon anyway in first 5 or so chapters). Their characteristics are funny, I mean really funny and unique. Sure they are loyal, but also keep bring troubles to our MC. That's very amusing to watch. I can say that the characters are the strongest point of this manga (10/10).

Like I said before, the story started strong, but it will slow down when the adventure begins. But I wouldn't say it bad. I would say it's learning phase for MC to need to go through, because he's from another world after all. but his servants will keep his journey interesting, or at least for me. Unlike most of isekai stories out there, the MC isn't just wanting to go back to his original world, but he also has another purposes in the current world (I won't spoil it of course). And of course, this manga still long way to go when I write this review (only 29 chapters). There is web novel and translations for this but I've yet to read it. I think the big arc will be coming. I expect it will be great, and show us more of our MC and servants true power. Another thing to mention is, I don't think MC will have more harem (unlike 'death march') if that's not your liking you shouldn't worry.

I recommend this manga for isekai story lovers. As die-hard fans myself.

Highly, highly underrated and definitely flying under most people's radar.

Think all the goodness and awesomeness of Konosuba! without the comedy.
Think about that. If you take all of Konosuba!'s comedy away, will it still be good? Objectively speaking, you've got - solid and consistent characters, clean and appealing art, world mechanic that gives you a feeling of consistency and wonder at the same time, perfect execution and timing to pull of elements that will tug the audiences' hearts e.g. in Konosuba! - jokes, expertly crafted dialogue, etc. So yeah, the answer is - hell yeah, it is! It checks off every box on the list!

World building
- Honestly, the world's mechanics as the story progresses is working towards the MC's convenience of progression. That sounds boring right off the bat on paper. But what makes it interesting is that the world is pre-built to antagonize the MC SPECIFICALLY.

Progression: Character
- I've never been so excited for a MC character progression like this in a long time. Most times, other IP's limitations and rules will make their MC fall short of what they ultimately could be just for consistency and drama. If they ever reach an ultimate form of OP-ness, it usually is executed horribly roughly, downright disgusting, with the feeling of getting cheated on because it just came completely out of left field.

Here, the components to allow the character's power level to attain incredible levels is so well made that the transition is as smooth as it could be, even with a flat type of character, without boring you to death.

Bonus (Semi-spoiler): Aqua and Eris
- I have no idea if anyone involved in making this story has a relation to Konosuba!, I haven't dug down that deep with it's creators yet. But the existence of these characters and their dynamic has made me realize why i like this IP a lot! There's just so many similarities to the feel of well, everything. It's like if Konosuba! was not a comedy title.
- The characters role in the world are different here, extensively the story. And that won't be disappointing at all. In fact, you'll welcome the idea of what they are and what they could be. Try to spot the similarities between the A & E here and the A & E in Konosuba!
- This is as much spoiler as i could give you.

Progression: Story
- Without going round the bush, the story complexity is simple but consistent. You've got a MC who wants to do something right from the start which sets off your overarching plot and goal. The fun is in the trials and tribulations MC has to go through to get there. You will get a sense of adventure that doesn't break past it's foreshadowed elements too much. For me, it looks to be grounded this way to be able to pull off the next part which is super important for this kind of story type.

Execution & Timing
- What can i say? It's like perfecting the craft of comedy without it being comedy. Hmmm. In hindsight, there are comedic relief parts to control the pacing and tension of the story. That just shows why this is such a well made manga even more.

Art
- Clean & readable while keeping it interesting. I'm not qualified to give you an accurate 'similarity comparison' with another artist. But i'd say, again, like Konosuba!

Don't get me wrong, like any other title, we still have the usual suspects that annoy some people who has attained a certain anime-veterancy. But the approach of the author to solve these tropes 'problems' are so well done that you could only spell out the words 'genius' and 'innovative' to describe the authors. (Even Deus Ex Machina! Find out how DEM was smoothly done and solved.) Don't let the title tags fool you. If you shy away just because of the POTENTIAL negative traits that come with a tag, i promise you, it will be okay, they(authors) took care of it.

The only thing i don't like about this title is that the sales numbers must be on the low end of the spectrum so serialization & publishing of the title seems to have come to a crawl.

I wish more people would give it a read or two.

P.S. If mods will allow it.. My first MAL review! yay! :D

Ah, isekai. It is so nice of you to always be with me, when I need salt.

In a nutshell
Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu focuses on an ordinary high school student, Misumi Makoto. He is summoned to another world, where he becomes a hero and is to save the world from an inevitable destruction. Upon arriving in the new world, he is met by other heroes, who are not that pleased to see a newbie hero. Being in the new world, without the help of the God that made Makoto a hero, he will need to find his own way to save the world.

Story
Speaking of the story, it is way too simple and it helps the reader to enjoy it, because it is just one of these novels that are great to kill some of your free time. Nothing really happens in it, there is almost no drama, so you can just enjoy it without needing to overanalyze the story. On top of that, the novel also has a couple of very interesting and unique ideas that have never been seen in other isekai. And it looks like this novel is perfect, however…

The novel does have a very bad and cliché start and while it does get better and better, the more you read it, the more flaws you see. There is no drama in this novel, which would give this novel a bit of a shocking element and make the novel more interesting to read. In addition to this, there are also no comedy moments. There is also no fan service, or it is so little that I did not even notice it. In addition to this, a serious drawback of the novel is that the author cannot describe action scenes properly (only a few battle scenes are not bad), he stretches the intervals between them, which makes them way too boring and even annoying. In addition to that, the plot only moves during the battles, in between the battles, there is almost no plot development and this is just terribly boring. Too bad, but you will only see one interesting event in 60-70 chapters. It seems that the author is way too inexperienced and this lack in experience results in the inability of the author to decide what they want their novel to be.

Characters
The characters are not that bad, but they all lack character development. What I mean is that like with many other light novel writers, the author of Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai introduces too many characters and little by little this becomes a problem. The easiest example for that would be when Shiki is introduced, it feels like Mio and Tomoe are no longer needed and are neglected by the author. What is more, for some reason, more and more unnecessary characters are introduced, who later become neglected, as well. And it becomes a problem: there are too many names, some of them do not even get enough time to shine, so that you can remember them, and the most important flaw that makes this novel yet another ‘average isekai harem’ is that there are far too many sex jokes, which are, for some reason, too difficult to understand for the main protagonist of the novel.

Criticism/Random Thoughts
I am disappointed, to tell you the truth. Like I said, it did have a bad start, but then it became readable and I would I even say that it was entertaining. However, then you just keep collection flaws and, at some point, you cannot enjoy the reading anymore: the main protagonist is yet another potato that is just too much of a dumbo to get any hints of his fellow female companions, or he might suffer an erectile dysfunction, does not matter, the author has no idea how their novel should look like, many characters are just neglected and receive little to no development and so on; I can make this list endless.

Overall
All in all, if I were you, I would never read the novel. It is just yet another cliché, average harem isekai, with some stupid sex baits. However, if you want to know more about Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu before the upcoming anime adaptation, my advice to you is to read the manga, which is nothing special, too, but it is readable. In the end, the choice is yours.
