This is a bit of a mixed bag. The story and characters are atrocious, to the extent that I literally don't think I could describe the plot if I wanted to. No established motivations, no background, no nothing. I sometimes hear the phrase "excuse plot" thrown around for videogames, but this is probably the first manga I ever read where the plot was basically a thrown together mess for the purpose of drawing cool shit. I almost feel like the entire series started as a computer background that he decided needed context for. So yeah, don't go in expecting Berserk. The art however is excellent, so that boosts the score. It also has some of the weirdest fan service I've ever seen, so theres that. Why he thought to include a panty shot in the same frame as a girl getting cut in half is kind of beyond me, but I guess go for it if thats your kink.
