What a brilliant and beautiful story, oh my goodness. I'm gonna do my best here to actually review it instead of just sobbing through my keyboard, so here I go.

My favorite aspect of this manga is the fact that each and every main character has a rich backstory without the entire story becoming too convoluted. Because of that, the pacing was also really well done. Each character's past came out at exactly the right time, and it was written beautifully.

The art was great as well, and I really got a feel for how the scenes were playing out-- namely the action scenes. Also, the humor was conveyed very well. I found the manga to be quite funny, though it was also very good during its intense parts as well.

The main attraction, though, is the romance in this story. It's so, so beautiful. The pacing of this specific part of the story was phenomenal. It didn't happen too quickly, it didn't end like you expected, and it was realistic throughout. The romance actually really benefited that characters' development as well, which isn't that common a find.

All in all, a really great manga. I would 100% come back to it again in the future. Also, if you want to know if it measures up to the anime, it so clearly surpasses it. Not that the anime is a waste of time, but I'm so glad I decided to experience the manga, too. This will remain one of my favorites for a long time.
