Horimiya review

Horimiya is just a simple shoujo. Nothing out of the box, with a clean art, interesting characters and nice supporting characters. I dare say that reminds me of Karekano, the on/off personality that they don't want to show.

So why you should read this manga? Well, I don't know, but I can be sure you that if you read it, you won't regret.

After reading a lot of romance manga, you start to get more and more demanding, just any love story won't fulfill your needs. So it gets harder and harder to find new shoujo that can please your taste. That happened to me, and Horomiya felt like a Oasis in the middle of the desert. Like I said, there's nothing super different in this manga when compared to others, what makes it nice is how flawless everything is in this story.

First the art, I love this art that seems clean, that doesn't have that many details but can still be beautiful. It's really pleasing to the eyes.
The characters are unique. The way the author made them is incredible, they could have gone all wrong and have been the most annoying and plain characters ever, but they are just perfect. Not that perfect boring, but in a way we can enjoy their craziness and their cute side too, they are totally 3D characters.
The story fits perfectly the art and the characters, it's simple, no much drama, the author doesn't rush things so we can wait anxiously for the next chapter and so that we don't loose interest so easily.
This manga isn't something super original and new, but in the middle of so many other plain and boring shoujo, it has it's own flavor and uniqueness, making it seem like an original between many copies.
