Kimetsu no Yaiba review

Story: 4/10 - It became extremely repetitive at the end. Almost monotonous in the way they found a demon, struggled, we saw a melodramatic backstory, and they would eventually kill it. The hype wore off after the first few demons, and honestly there isn't much development in the plot except "Kill Muzan!" and "I need to get stronger!". There honestly just isn't really much going on, the worldbuilding isn't great either.

Art - 7.5/10, it's good art for the most part, it could be a 8 or 9.

Character - 3/10, I think this is probably the worst part of the manga. Whether the antagonists or the protagonists, none of the characters are unique, fleshed out, or have active development throughout the story that isn't "I want to get stronger!". All of the characters are honestly as static as they look, it's pretty much what you see at face value. Their personalities match their appearances, that's for sure(especially the Hashiras). It even goes as far to have characters that are basically plot devices, having no use in the story except to further Tanjiro's development as a slayer and just to die.

Enjoyment - 5/10, some of the character's abilities are cool, but the power system is not shown whatsoever, and honestly, the abilities seem really contrived at times - especially when they counter the enemies, seemingly for no reason.

Overall - 5/10, it's not that bad of a read, but it's not good either.
