Resumen
Miharu is smart, attractive and talented. One could say he's been playing life in "easy mode." That is until a teddy bear steals his wallet and a strange man comes out of an arcade game and demands Miharu play a game; the D-game! What's worse, the man even claims to be from the future. What will happen when Miharu must play to survive?

Worldend:Debugger review
Welp since there aren't any reviews for this manga yet, I'll go ahead and give my quick thoughts.
I scored it pretty high because I enjoyed this manga a lot more than I expected. It started out pretty okay, but really grabbed me when things turned dark in the first chapter. The more I read, the more I wanted to learn about the game itself and the characters. I looked forward to seeing what kind of game there'll be. It's too bad the manga is so short. It made some parts feel rushed, or we didn't get enough out of it. It would've been so much better if it had a few more chapters and took its time. As much as I enjoyed the main two guys, I wanted to learn more about the others, but the manga never really delved deep into them. Especially the female character that shows up, but is barely around. More like we barely learn anything about her. We don't even see her around the ending... Overall, I found this manga a lot of fun and enjoyed the characters despite how short it was and rushed some parts were. |
Worldend:Debugger review
From the very first chapter, I was already gripped into the story. There's so much going on in the story, but throughout you know exactly what is going on. At the same time, it gives you a great inside of each individual character, and how they really are, with having such varied personalities. It's simply a great, and gripping story, that you will get drawn into after just the 2nd chapter. I just wanted to carry on reading, to really find out how the game worked. I especially enjoyed the little quirky, plush-like characters, as I found them funny.
The main point that I have about this, is the fact that the author could have expanded more, on the story. I feel like as reader's we did not get enough time, to really understand the storyline. It could have had a few more chapters, to really expand on the story, and perhaps have a bigger insight, into the characters. Overall though, I've enjoyed the story, and I believe that regardless of the pointers about it, it's still worth the read, even though it's been a bit rushed through. |
