I'm actually somewhat disappointed that there's not a single review of Fight Class 3/Gyeoggi 3 Ban considering it's a pretty decent piece of work, but then again it's not really known so I understand. However, I'm happy that I'm the first one who'll be submitting one.

It took me 2 days to read it, not to my expectations which was a surprise to me, so I'd guess that says something about how much I like it.

As far as the character and story portion of the manhwa goes, it's mostly what you'd expect out of a traditional shounen-esque work, even though during certain stages it wouldn't qualify as much, but it's up there.

The plot sometimes feels like it's all over the place, especially during the middle half of the series, but that's just probably my inexperience as a manga reader barging in and making a point, so as such it might not count for much I'm afraid lol. It's mostly linear and expectable, guy had a bad thing happen to him when he was a kid, he requires resources and ability to overcome said thing, attain something of value or just become stronger, and yeah it's mainly centered on school life so it's pretty easy to guess the kind of characters you'll be seeing throughout the series. I appreciate that every Fight Class character has an appropriate body shape, female and male fighters both stand on equal ground, and everyone is given a room to grow after a certain event. Also, Maria is best girl. <3

The art is pretty much what takes the whole experience out of the park here. Panels are being drawn in a way that conveys intensity and emotion of a situation, character or landscape through better character and background detail (e.g. if a character is seen having their tender, carefree, fun moments they won't be drawn with as much detail compared to when they're in a fight or in an intense, dire situation where they can become all scary and intimidating looking in a second, so that's cool)

Considering the series is still an on-going one (the latest chapter is 76), I'm stoked to see how the plot and characters will develop from this point onward, and I will happily be keeping up with future chapters.

I am biased towards martial arts manga and am therefore giving it a 7, if i didn't like martial arts manga i would have probably given this a 6 at most.
The story is probably the weakest part, the main plot line just serves as a way to open up a highschool setting manga whereafter it's promptly forgotten. Sometimes this plot is brought up again as justification for certain characters behaving a certain way only to remind you that the plot existed in the first place. Midway through there starts to open up a secondary main plot line but the character involved in this plot line is uninteresting and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere for now at least. Disregarding the main plot lines the manga is actually enjoyable to read it doesn't just feel like filler.
The art is probably the main sticking point, it's original and the fight scenes very well done. The only weak part here is that the scenes where they're not fighting seem to have less effort and reverts to being pretty simplistic, if you're mostly interested in the fighting parts this can be overlooked.
The characters are ok in my opinion. There's a variety of recurring characters that actually have interesting things that they are doing and some of the main characters have some backstory. Main problem here for me is the fact that i don't care for most of the characters, because of not enough backstory so not being able to relate to them. You get to know most of the personalities of the characters but it's not written well enough that you're able to really empathize with them well enough in my opinion.
If you enjoy martial arts manga with well drawn fight scenes, go for it but don't expect a very deep story behind it.
If you don't really care for art styles and are looking for amazing writing go look elsewhere.
