Vampire Juujikai review
One of the best manga i have ever read.
At first i thought it was just another vampire story but soon it changed, the characters are very well developed, there is a reason behind everything they do, i can really think of them as "real people" and i feel sad for what happened to them.
This isnt a black/white story, its a gray one to its roots. There are no villains or heroes, or rather you can choose whoever you want to be villain/hero.
Its really saddening though, its been a really long time since a manga/anime/book/movie or any makeup story has managed to shake me so much, i felt everything the characters felt.

Vampire Juujikai review
Let me tell you that something is very wrong with this story, it doesn't have any logical meaning.
First of all, we have the King of vampires who want to find his"beloved" queen that was sealed because she was too strong (there's a second reason here i don't want to give spoilers) , secondly we have dhampires (half humans, half vampires) who want to kill the King (because he "betrayed" them), then out of the blue aliens are invading earth ( hahaha).
The humans and dhampires need the help of the King to distroy the aliens, and after that they will kill the King and his Queen with the help of "the black swan".
lol. stupid manga

Vampire Juujikai review
This is supposed to be shounen but it doesn't seem like. Most of it is dialogue. If you want a story that throws logic out the window, read this manga. Killing the strong just because they are too powerful doesn't make any sense at all. No one tries to kill the most powerful men on Earth irl because they are too powerful. People want others dead because of their opinions on issues. Anyway, the characters were all pretentious. Most of this story is about them talking about the past and revealing secrets. I wouldn't recommend this to people who desire characters that they can relate
to. 1 very poor story. 6 art. It's decent. 1 Character. 3 poor enjoyment. Overall 3.

Vampire Juujikai review
I'm not too far into this manga, due to the fact that i've been reading it online and only 15 chapters have been released so far. From what i have read, i found it to be very good. There are quite a few surprising twists in just the first 15 chapters. Originally based around the Vampire king deserting his nation in order to find the queen, while being sought by the "Black Swan", It quickly turns to a story of revenge and intrigue. The action in the story so far is good, with the Vampire King leading in power, but slightly surpassed by the "Black Swan"
in strength. As I finish the manga (god, knows how long that'll be), I'm sure i'll find it to be very good.

Vampire Juujikai review
Well I've already finish reading this manga a few months ago and at first it was really exciting to read, I was really waiting everyday for an update, the story was good and interesting up to the second last chapter, what I didn't like to this manga was the ending it was really a disappointment for my side. but it's really the given ending so we can't do about it.

Vampire Juujikai review
I loved this manga because the story was really interesting. I like the way Strauss' past was being revealed bit by bit, and also cause it was a complicated past so it was like a big mystery being revealed. I also liked it cause I think the characters fit well in the story, but I mostly liked Strauss' character cause it was like he planed everything in he's life ever since Stella died.
So basically it was a great series and I recommend it for those who like action, magic and mysteries.

Vampire Juujikai review
I demand that you read it.
It is SUCH a good manga its sad it didn't get an anime.
It may have a pretty stupid name but it is amazing nonetheless.
Forget other vampire stories, this one kept me so hooked i cried when it ended. Literally.
The mystery is prolonged and keeps you guessing and once its finally out your left...just amazed
And unlike other vampire stories it carries its own uniqueness
Personally the royalty part among the vampires is among the best parts for vampires to me. And ROFV has exactly that
Strauss the main character was so...deep and great of a character that he's on my list of top favourites.
Amazing story, with amazing character relations and deep pasts.

Vampire Juujikai review
Nowadays, the word 'vampire' has been thrown around and generally represents supernatural beings that are unbelievably beautiful and like sucking the blood from young ladies.
o.0
This manga scraps several stereotypes created by stories such as Twilight and The Vampire Diaries, and shines a new light on the word 'vampire'. Akabara Strauss is, indeed, a vampire, though in a much different sense than most are used to. His story follows not his lust for blood, as many do, but instead his line of personal tragedy and revenge for his loved ones, or rather, his loved one. Although there is an absence of blood so far, to tell the truth, it would be irrelevant with such an amazing storyline based on other elements, namely love and retribution. The three main characters, Akabara, the Vampire King; Yuki, the 'Black Swan' and Bridget, a Dhampyre, find themselves following paths that all seem to intertwine with each other's, and it is for this reason, along with the overall feeling of the manga and breathtaking art, that I thoroughly recommend this story.

Vampire Juujikai review
Record of a fallen vampire has to be one of my favorites. the way you never really know whats going on or what will happen next really keeps me on edge every chapter! i want to know what happens next but i don't want it to end then i do to see whats going to happen because i'm completely surprised! it is a masterpiece. the main character strauss is a brilliant vampire who gave up everything he had in order to do something greater than anyone could imagine, not even the people closest to him knew exactly why he did the things he did and
he just kept going on step more towards his master plan. I recommend this manga to anyone who enjoys psychological twists and turns. you will love it.

Vampire Juujikai review
This was a tremendous spectacle of a manga, not only did it deliver but excelled further and further.
Initially I thought that the art work made the manga, but I'm fortunate enough to have read on because this story showed me real insight.
I'm not going to bore you with a summary, there's no point of reading a review if you don't even know what you're watching, that's just pointless...
A few pages in and what really captivated me was Strauss's title and role, had I not known and thought that the story was about a stereotypical man/boy that comes to terms with their powers and their functionality, I would have quit.
Instead what I found out was that this man had become wise through the thousands of years, that he had to endure for a minor treaty to become so big that it enveloped the world and bonded it forever.

Vampire Juujikai review
One of these best mangas out there. This surpasses its genre in greatness, at first you have no clue what's going on but then slowly the story starts coming out and you become pulled into this world of mystery and tragedy, which of course means murder. The deeper you get the more tied to the characters you become, you begin hating one and view them as the enemy until you get more pieces of the story and you change your mind.
Ultimately you end up hating fear because that's what triggers everything. This series is about the destructive power of fear and teaches you a very emotional lesson of just how terrible it can be. This isn't a typical vampire story, it's filled with nothing but tragic romance and utter chaos at times. Mostly, it's a sad lesson as to why you shouldn't try to destroy something simply because you don't understand it.
I love it because even though this series would ultimately be labeled a Tragedy, it's not overly depressing, it's not all that dark really. It weaves in and out of its horror, so you don't feel weighed down and ready to hang yourself. This is very good story and I'd recommend it to anyone over the age of 13 no matter the gender.

Vampire Juujikai review
I completely LOVE reading this. The main character, Strauss, is so unpredictable, and you can never really tell what's going on in that HUGE brain of his. The plot is awesome. At first, I thoguht it was going to be one of those boring romances that have an obvious plot, but in the third volume, the plot changed to a darker mood. Then it changed to something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. And then it changed some more.

Vampire Juujikai review
If I was to give a single explanation about what Vampire Juujikai is about, i'd say that it asks the question what does it mean to be a king. What is the truest form of a king. I believe that Vampire Juujikai answers that question. A king is someone who in a split second can sacrifice everything to save his people. He is able to make the hard decisions.
When I read a manga I look for story above all else, well maybe not look for because a good one is so hard to find in manga or tv these days. In all the manga and anime I have read only about 2 of them have lived up to my expectations including this manga. The other being full metal alchemist.
The thing that I look for is a intro with a huge number of story elements in it.
In Vampire Juujikai we have Strauss the 1000 year old vampire who abandoned his own people, now hunted by his own kind and humans alike. With a curse that is seemingly absolute and almost guaranteed to kill strauss eventually. A seemingly endless task of breaking thousands of seals to free his vampire bride who almost destroyed the world. Now with 1000 years of backstory his mortal enemy the Black Swan wants to work together with the vampire king to fight a common enemy.
Any other story mongers out there should recognize, these elements are the makings of an amazing story. These are all introduced at the very beginning of the story and throughout the story are tied together in a web of ellaborate lies and misconceptions.
Don't even read into the sci fi element, there is no sci fi element. I got turned off of reading this amazing story for ages because I thought for the longest time that it was gonna be about some weird ass space invasion.
The only flaw that I can see is the characters. There are several characters which are given seemingly important parts but turn out to have absolutely nothing to do with anything. They are never explored, but they look weird as hell and you think theres a story there, but it's never explored.

Vampire Juujikai review
An excellent manga that no one ever talks about.
The story feature many unique characters that will grow on you and might leave you sad by the final events of chapter 43. This manga features vampires, a Venom like antagonist, Dhampirs, and many other creatures. It makes it seem so natural and unlike any other vampire manga.
The art is a bit shoujo-like but that may just be me. The manga is a tragic shounen manga that lasted 43 chapters. Despite the length, the series feels pretty long. There is good character development that doesn't feel forced like many others in this genre. It doesn't end like a normal shounen either, however, it is not a bad ending. I think some people may have a problem with the ending but I thought it was the best ending for this manga.

Vampire Juujikai review
vampire juuji kai / record of fallen vampire,
This manga has an extraordinary storyline. if you think of vampires, dhampires, humans AND aliens, it seems too much to be good. but to my surprise, this manga turned out to be really a masterpiece.
The characters have very profound personalities, nothing is just black-white.
The plot releases it's mystery slowly, which gives a very good vibe of curiosity and the urge to continue reading enormous.
I really enjoyed this manga, and I would recommend this as a must to read.

Vampire Juujikai review
Vampires have lately become a trend in the entertainment industry, obviously including the anime and manga industry. Countless movies/books/series etc have been made about them, and in the name of originality, their creators had to more or less move away from the actual vampire myths. Which is a good thing, because otherwise all of them would pretty much be like Dracula, and that could ruin the whole genre. Nobody likes rip-offs, after all. Therefore, over the past few years we've seen vampires that can walk under the sun, go to human school and live a pretty much normal life.
Now, the reason I'm taking this long introduction is because "Record of Fallen Vampire" features the most rediculus variations of the original myth, namely vampires that don't drink blood to survive. I don't know your opinion, but any creature that doesn't need to drink blood is, at least for me, not a vampire. It might be a drow elf, but that's beyond the point. There is however a single blood-sucking moment towards the end of the story, so I will accept it as it is. Now, to the review.
"Record of Fallen Vampire" has one of the most gripping stories I've ever seen or read. Part of it is because almost everything you thought was true at the beginning of the story will have been dismissed as lies by the time you've reached the middle. You'll be led to believe the myth surrounding the vampire king's name, but you will soon learn that nothing is as it seems... and again... and again... until the final truth, the one even the king himself doesn't know, is revealed. On the journey towards that truth you will discover political intrigue in the human and the vampire world, and you will see mortal enemies joining hands to fight a common foe. The only thing that bothers me with the otherwise great story is that, at some point, there is the introduction of aliens to the plot. Many may find them matching well with the vampires, but I personally find the combination pretty silly. The fact that the aliens themselves - although we never get to actually see how they actually look like - are as cliche as they can get certainly doesn't help.
The main characters are quite deep and are developed pretty well as the story progresses. Particularly Kayuki, Bridget and Strauss are characters to fall in love with. Some of the more minor characters could have been developed a bit more, but you'll hardly notice it.
Art is surelly one of the biggest assets of the manga series. All characters are drawn well, but especially some larger drawings look astonishing.
All in all, "Record of Fallen Vampire" is a trully great manga for all those who love good fantasy, action and romance. I would recommend it as a must-read to all those vampire-fans out there (part of whom I am myself ;) ) although the main story is clearly not of the typical vampire genre. But then again, the manga's backstory clearly is, so you'll probably like it anyway.
