Oh GANTZ’s the first time I know this manga is form its anime that I loved so much and ending with a lot of mystery and question, so my curiosity brought me to these manga. And what I got here was a Fantastic story more than what I or even you can ever imagine.

Well the character design of these manga is more close to the realistic people in real life, you’re not gonna find people with big eyes, big head and colorful hair or Moe character in here, but a violence and graphic picture everywhere. Because these manga is all about “Murdering Aliens”… so you’ll see a lot of scene about people “Butchering Alien” and of course a lot of “Alien Butchering People”, If you don’t like to see some “Gore” things like “Human being Dismembering to Pieces” I recommended you to don’t even dare to open this manga because I afraid it will leaves you a trauma, I mean It… but it’s all your choice…

First the story is about a High School student named Kurono who only thinks about tits and sex even in the middle of school lecture. He have a really bad personality and always insulting people in his mind, until he meets his childhood friend Katou that asking Kurono to save drunk people who have fall into the railroad, but unfortunately thee train hit and killed them. After that they wake up in a locked room with Big Black Ball called “Gantz” and other people that have same death experiences before with different way from around Tokyo. They tried everything to get out the room but nothing is succeed. Then a minutes later the black ball playing a weird song and giving the people a weapon and suit in order to kill some weird alien. They have no choice but to kill the alien, because there’s a bomb planting in inside their head and gonna blow their head if they’re not kill the alien. After the hunt clear they can come back to home, but with the bomb still planted in their head and will detonate if they talk to other people about Gantz and the Alien.

The bloody hunt still repeating until they have reach to 100 point, a score given by Gantz after one Hunt end. The hunt repeating again and again and again and again aaaaand this is The Story all about, it’s about seen a lot of alien killed, seen a lot of people killed like that repeatedly. But that what makes Gants interesting because each hunt New People with Different Characteristic gathered and New Unique Alien being encountered form the weak to the Monstrously Strong.

These manga will leaves you a lot of Mystery and makes you questioning about humanity and morality dilemma, for example like why they should kills the alien? Is the alien a bad creatures? should they save other people? What kind of people the should saves? and of course these question that asking about “is The God Really Exist?” you’ll encounter a lot of question like that when you read these manga, well what you expected it’s from Japanese the country that full with a lot of Atheist, well forgot the Religion stuffs and after all these manga is a “Gory Fun” well drawn and well structured you’ll undertand all the mystery if you manage to read all chapter of the manga.

Oh yes I forgot about Kurono the main character, after he survives a lot of Hunt he gradually change from a pervert jerky person to the more better person little by little by little or maybe a little to long it’s almost makes me hate him so much for always being an Asshole. But it doesn’t mean that the possibility of Kurono survives the Hunt is 100%, well im not gonna spoil it here…
