I don't feel that there is a lot that can be said about this series, I enjoyed my time with it but it still has its flaws. First off the main appeal for me was the art. The art within this series is sublime, the way fights are drawn and the beautiful environments completely gripped me. The story could have been leagues worse but I would've sticked to the series because of the art. That takes us to the story which is gripping enough but can often grow convoluted. There were points where I found myself totally lost and somewhat frustrated. The characters though are written quite well, they have intriguing motivations and rarely feel one noted. The villains though aren't exactly my thing. I've always loved villains like Johan or Pain who are very multi-layered which this series lacks. Overall it's worth a read and I think most will enjoy it even if it's just for the art.
