Uzumaki to Junji Ito's most famous work, in a nutshell, is a compilation of very bizarre events in a town called Kurouzu-cho, rather the events of Kirie Goshima where strange spiral-related things happen, in which case a story is told. Part of the Uzumaki universe, if you like well-developed stories, Uzumaki is not a good choice. Speaking of Uzumaki's horror now, the horror doesn't come from the psychological or the scares, it comes entirely from the discomfort and tension that is very very good, and unlike the horror I'm used to seeing, if you like horror, Uzumaki is a good choice.
