Yakedo Shoujo review

In the beginning I thought this manga was a niche oriented towards nihilists and I really expected a heavy dose of philosophy from this work. But gradually it became very clear that it was crude and straight out gross. The main character is bland and doesn't have any appeal whatsoever with her pretense clearly visible.
The author needs to understand that being obsessed over death and masochistic/sadistic tendencies are two different things. That, being edgy doesn't equal gore, sex and grotesque corpses.
The author could have used philosophy as a tool to bring out the emotions that he wanted instead of using gore as it would have looked much more genuine than the present piece of garbage it is.
