Battle Royale review

One thing that can be noticed in battle royale is the relatively lifelike characters. the anatomy of each figure (with exception to the eyes) is relatively close and detailed to that of the human figure. However it retains its manga-like style in keeping with the simple lines. heavy inking and shading gives the manga a sense of suspense and accuity.
As far as the storyline goes. It is quite abnormal. It begins with the main battle and throughout the battle you learn of everyone's past lives which catches the reader by surprise. It is quite psychotic too.
The characters themselves have great depth. While not going into each and everyone individually (theres 43 in all) it does a good job of depicting the ones it does with detail.
Overall this is a good read. it keeps you hooked until the end, with predictable yet much anticipated showdowns between characters. The climax is all too exciting and it gets the blood pumping.
