You can tell while reading this that the author is rather new. The art doesn't always properly communicate the characters' perspective, which can make the MC seem stupid for not doing something that seems possible but isn't. The story moves fast, and while some characters are interesting, they generally stay in the manga's periphery.

Now, as for what I liked about this series. It's a nice, short read. I finished it in a hour or two. The mystery is pretty solvable and the author doesn't pretend it's difficult. Soon after you receive enough info to solve it, the finale comes. The characters have actual motivations and background that induced them. And the evil sicko is quite...well...sick.

The bad stuff: it's mediocre, expository, and has minimal action. The author is too new to expand on key events for more than a chapter, again contributing to why it's a quick read. Similarly, the action ends quickly, although this also keeps rather realistic. And most importantly, nothing stands out. It's nice, but nothing grabbed my attention before or after reading the story.

tl;dr it's not bad but it's not great either. It's an okay read to pass a few hours with.
