Kimetsu no Yaiba review

This manga was honestly not as bad as some people considered it to be. For me, it was actually more enjoyable then I thought it would be. If you watched the anime first instead of reading the manga, and you wanna know what happens after the anime arc, it's worth a read. But I wanna talk about a few things centering around art, character, and story a little.

STORY
Story was underwhelming for sure. I wouldn't say it was terrible, but it definitely wasn't the greatest thing ever. I enjoyed the fights more then the actually story. But to be fair, Kimetsu is a very heavy on a lot of action and fights which I'm a big fan for the most part.

ART

the art of kimetsu starts off...pretty bad actually. But it's one of those things to were the art goes from terrible, to bad, to decent, to actually pretty good. A lot of people say the art is terrible and that the anime did it justice. I can defiantly agree with that but later on in the series, the art gets a lot better and I kind of wish people didn't shit on the mangaka for her art. Yes, her art isn't something that's better then OPM or even berserk. but keep in mind, that her art is still professional and weather you like her art style or not, you have to give her credit for actually putting out some decent work.

CHARACTORS

the mangaka needs a lot of work on character building, but the characters were nonetheless enjoyable to an extent. The antagonist in the series however, was really poorly written. Like, the antagonist was enjoyable, but felt really bland to an extent. I felt like the creator could have done more character development with him.

OVERALL
Your probably better off waiting for the anime adaptation since it will do the series more justice. Though, if you are interested in what happens after the anime arcs, the manga will not disappoint like how some people say.
