Nothing new to be honest. Demon Slayer has all your typical shounen cliches. MC has some "enhanced" senses. Family gets murdered, seeks revenge. Never thought something like this would be so popular.

Anyway I think the greatest downfall for this manga is the writing and especially the humor, the humor is just terrible. Like Zenitsu can be so annoying in some situations which kills the mood because of terrible humor.

The writing, it's mediocre. I'm sure people who actually analyize stories thinks that the story writing isn't anything special. But I can say this manga is for people who's new to the manga world as the story is easy to follow, has some notable scenes, and atleast likable characters. Not for someone who read a lot of mangas because they probably will find this boring.

The art, at first it feels like some parts were rushed as it lacked details but further to the chapters the art got better. Personally I'm not a fan of the art style.
