Re:monster is a manga by Kanekiru Kogitsune who came up with a new concept we never experienced before. Leave the hero, knight, and savior concepts behind. Those were the elements that actually made the manga pretty good to read as it not cliché like a main character acting as the savior. Yes, the manga bring out a monster as main protagonist. They main focus is Rou who is more a monster than a hero or knight.

Story
The story is about Tomokui Kanata who is gifted with esper ability. One night, Kanata is killed by a stalker and being re-incarnated as a goblin. Goblin class is the weakest and lowest class in the created world. This magic world is where also exist other species like orcs, elves, humans, and much more monsters. His memories as a human with the esper ability remained with him. Given a new name as Rou by eldest goblin, he is determined to live his life to the fullest this time. You will read this as the story will show you new path to adventures.

Art
Pretty well drawn. Not a masterpiece but also not the worst. I would consider it above average actually.

Character
Rou is actually a unique person blessed with esper abilities. He also kindhearted besides a little cold attitude towards the others as first. You maybe will realize this at the goblin nest as shown that at first, Rou doesn't actually care if the other goblins are dead or not. Soon, He develops enough softer heart as he won't let any of his comrades and friends to die. He also can be quite cruel if someone tries to oppose him and shown sight of rebellious. His abilities and power seem to develop and become stronger each time as story goes on. His current self is strong enough wipe out an ogre and orc class without any problem.

Enjoyment and Overall
I kind of enjoyed this manga after all. I love it though. Waiting for more chapters to come out. The story is quite interesting with a good plot to lead the manga. It will be no surprise though if the manga get adaption into anime. I probably will wait for it, because it's worth waiting.
