Tokyo ghoul re...one of the few manga which i must say, left a big hole in my heart.Even after reading it,i found it difficult to let go of of the world which Sui Ishida has created. That is how much of a impression it made on me,it was really hard and difficult to come to the terms that i have read it and the amount of the emotions which took me were quite overwhelming. Is it a perfect story?Of course its not, as well as the main character himself. He is not perfect,he is a mess.A mess of all emotions he kept bottled deep inside him, which he had to keep deep down in order to survive in this cruel world. How can i not relate to him?I know its quite subjective from me to say this, but arent we all like that?Forced to forget our inner child and everything we feel in order to succeed in the world? And in the end,we cant help but embrace both of the sides we have became, both the child and something we are not.
Even few years from now on,i am convinced that this story and its characters will stay memorable as to the time i first read it.I loved the art and the improvement ,compared to the Tokyo ghoul manga, this one seemed much more detailed and i i cant get enough of it.One of the things which i loved the most, was without a doubt, the progression of toukas and kanekis relationship, the care and love both hold for one another.I think their actions say more that enough, there is no need for words.Secondly,i cant help but love Hide for everything he did to help his best friend and without him,Kaneki would have died multiple times before even Tokyo ghoul re has started.I was more than enough satisfied to see the development of certain characters and i must admit it that even Furuta himself was alone a very interesting character.
Did i enjoy reading it?Yes,i did, even though the ending itself felt rushed,i enjoyed this series with all my heart and i am really looking forward to a new manga from Sui Ishida
