Monster review

This was a fantastic read. While it wasn't super fast-paced the story-telling of Urasawa managed to have me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire manga. I loved that all the characters, no matter how small they seemed, tied together to tell a masterpiece of a story in the end. This beautifully portrayed issues on morality in the tale of Tenma and Johan. The character development was wonderful for Eva, and I loved watching her grow as a character. Additionally, Johan has become one of my favorite villains in manga history because of this character's complexity. He is at first painted as just
a black and white evil guy, but the lines between morality are blurred as we learn more about him.
