Simply put "Change 123" is probably one of the best romance/martial arts manga ever written. I can't believe that I passed over this story for so many years and I can truthfully say that at no time during it's 60 chapters did I ever get bored with the story. The strongest part of this manga is probably the overarching plot about the reconstitution of Motoko's personalities into a single person and it's a theme that does a really nice job of making the pacing for the story and the relationship between the two (or is it 5?) leads move along at a satisfactory pace.

In addition to the great plot there is also a slew of really fantastic characters in this manga. All of the multiple personalities are wonderful in their own way, almost to the point where they often overshadow the main personality of Motoko, but I did find it hard to declare an absolute "favorite" among them. Also, the art work in this series is a notch above the average fare and the character designs are stunning.

If you enjoy a good martial arts manga with a nice plot and a bevy of beautiful girls, then Change 123 will definitely be a "must read" manga.
