Objectively, this is inconsistent as hell. The plot bounces back and forth so much, changing focus and characters on a dime. It feels like the mangaka was doing whatever he felt like on a whim. However, despite this messiness, I really found it to be an enjoyable read. I gave this an 8, and I'm not sure if that's the right ranking, or if it's too high, given the incoherent plot. I can't even describe it well without spoiling. If you're looking for a ride for the hell of it, and can enjoy or stomach edgy and gory content, then go with this ride, and see if you enjoy it at the end. As of right now, this is the strangest manga I've read, but in a good way? I don't know. Just get past the overt edginess of the first 13 chapters and strap in for what's to come.
