The best long series shonen manga by a miles,

Koe no Katachi review
I wish I could like this manga, but sadly I can't. I can only say that it was a missed opportunity to write a really moving story, at best. It's not that I hate this manga, but it's certainly not what I expected.
My main problem with Koe no Katachi is its characters. Starting with the main ones, Ishida and Nishimiya. These two should've been the best written characters in the story, and considering the kind of plot this thing has, I would've expected more engaging and complex interactions. In every instance when these two had a talk, I couldn't help but think "what kind of stupid situation will happen next that will ruin it all?" Now, I understand that they're troubled kids (especially Nishimiya), but their reactions and decisions are so weird that I fail to believe that a normal teenager would behave like this, to the point of becoming annoying and thus, not realistic enough to make you feel interested in what they do or in what they achieve. And in this regard, I have to admit that Ishida, among all of the characters in Koe no Katachi, is the best one. His struggles and urge to redeem himself are the main focus, after all. However, it's annoying when you see the main character be so miserable almost of all the time and being so slow in understanding his environment. This leads to the plot not advancing in a meaningful way, and you just feel stuck in the same place. And Nishimiya? My God, if Nishimiya was a real person, not only I would feel sorry for her, but also I'd wonder if she's a living sandbag. I can't come up with a better definition of Nishimiya as a character: a living sandbag. She barely does anything, she tries to engage in problem the least amount of times possible, and she feels sorry for no reason. Her deafness is the excuse for her being so utterly miserable, passive and pitiful. So much so to the point of exaggeration. You're telling me just because she's deaf she will be the target of constant abuse by both her family and peers and she will do nothing about it? Not even push them to a wall and punch them in the face two or three times? Nishimiya is such an unrealistic character, I just can't take her seriously. It's like she created her character as a device that makes pity in the reader out of thin air, without ever putting her in a situation where you can honestly say "gee, now that's messed up, I feel bad for her." My guess is that her design is cute, but for me that's not enough. A cute character design by itself won't make me feel anything if said character doesn't feel realistic and believable. What can I say about the supporting characters? Not much, they're pretty much useless and a nuisance that barely has any effect or permanent consequence in the story as a whole. They're even less developed than Ishida and Nishimiya, and end up being annoying because of how one-dimensional their traits are. They're there to give a (un)motivational speech to the main characters or to make the story longer with tiring explanations and whining that aren't that important to begin with. They fill up space, they're uninteresting and have no purpose, other than create a fake sense of conflict that doesn't have much impact. Do I recommend this manga? To be fair, yes. Even though I said bad things and my disappointment was obvious from the start of this review, I can't say it's the worst I've read. Far from it, it's just not the masterpiece most people think it is. And with stories this highly rated, the best thing you can do is to read it yourself and get rid of the "hype". The synopsis is interesting but because of its characters, it ends up being poorly executed, leaving a bad taste at the end. In summary, a mediocre manga with wasted potential. In any case, read it for yourself so you can understand (or not) what I'm talking about.

Made in Abyss review
‘Made in Abyss’ is one of the few cases in which I consider that the anime is better than the manga. The visual and musical beauty that this anime has is not reached by the manga (about the music it is understood).
MiA's premise is fantastic, a simple story, a good idea that promises an exciting journey into the depths of the abyss, somewhat reminiscent of a rpg. The problem, as so often happens, is that after a short time it tries to complicate the plot in an absurd way, to make it convoluted, believing that this would give it a greater complexity and depth, but it's harder to create something simple but great in every aspect than something big that doesn't excell in anything as this manga does right now. From chapter 40 to 52 (the last chapter so far) this only goes about drama moments, attempts to create shock with gory scenes, the creation of a mythology full of characters that do not contribute anything at the moment to the story and scenes to show naked children. A pity, it had very good manners, but if 'Made in Abyss' continues like this it will become nothing, just another conventional manga.

Wani Danshaku review
This is a story about a Crocodile and his animal friends, they visit restaurants all over the country to try out all kinds of gourmet foods. But can a Crocodile truly be friends with animals like Rabbits and Cats?
Story: Do you like Gourmet stories? Do you like animals? If your answer is no, don't even bother reading this manga. There is a repetitive formula here. The Crocodile hears of a restaurant, usually from the Rabbit friend. Then you will get information about the food while they are eating. And some additional information about animals. It's weird enough to make it worth a read if you want to know random animal facts and see all kinds of food. But do not expect an actual story. Art: Okay so I bought this manga digitally, so it might be different in Physical form. But the contrast of the art really annoyed me. There's too much white spaces, the black lines stands out a lot, and since it's animals and not humans it's hard for my eyes to instantly tell what's on the page. Maybe it's better in paper, but as for the digital version, the art is not great. Characters: So the Crocodile is like an English Gentleman. He's respectful and calm while wearing a hat. The Rabbit is energized and childish while also being selfish. While it's hard to hate any of these characters, it's also hard to like them. The personalities do fit the appearance, it's just... The Main Characters are all Animals, so why do they act like humans? They sit in chairs, they use forks and knives, they work normal jobs, I expected something else. Overall, this manga is a bit boring. The story, art and characters are all boring. The one single thing that makes it a bit original is the fact that it's all about animals acting human but shows some animal instincts fit for their respective race.

Zyword review
Zyword has a facinating story conscept, the problem I had with it though is that the pacing felt off. It felt like things would happen but would be so quick that it was a bit difficult to kind of understand. Despite this being a former member of CLAMP, there were some issues with some of the art, mainly it felt panels were to squished togeather sometimes. It was still nice to see her artstyle again when it came to the characters. Speaking of, the characters were pretty good too, though once again I felt some of their backstory felt unclear until the second chapter. The
biggest issue besides the rushed feeling was that is ended on a cliffhanger. There is only one volume to this so I thought it would end in this manga. It's a bit dissappointing. If you really enjoy new fantasy worlds and are not too picky with the storyflow, I would recommend it. It wasn't terrible, but I feel the pacing could have been better.

Black Mind review
I stumbled upon this when I was looking for manga like Dogs: Bullets and Carnage and manga by/art by Shirow Miwa. It was only 2 chapters and I thought "What the heck, I'll read it!"
Story: 5/10 The story is awesome, but it felt rushed and it left me wanting more. BLACK MIND is about a high-schooler who's a hitman for the government. After a mission, the girl he likes is ordered to kill him. Later, we are given a little backstory of both characters. (Mostly Nao, the female) We learn that her brother was experimented on and became a psycho. Yohane then goes against his orders to kill Nao's brother. Art: 10/10 I LOVE Miwa's art! It's dark and his characters always look so awesome. Character: 4/10 There is no character development. You know little to nothing about the characters. I would've rated the characters 3 out of 10, but the art boosts it up one. Enjoyment: 8/10 Overall, I enjoyed it. The art is amazing and the action is awesome. It's just the rushed feeling and no character development. Overall: 7/10 Dogs fans will probably enjoy this. The art in both manga are done by Miwa. The characters look similar too (Yohane=Haine; Nao=Naoto). It's basically a Dogs prototype. XD

CROSS EPOCH review
So... Cross Epoch is a thing...
This might be one of the shortest manga review I may end up doing, since Cross Epoch is basically Dragon Ball Minus with One Piece characters... Or rather, a One Piece scenario with Dragon Ball characters shoehorned in it. The most lackluster aspect of the One-Shot is the story (or for better terms, a lack of one). You see, nothing really happens in Cross Epoch, it´s just a compilation of scenarios of What-If´s that uses both Dragon Ball and One Piece characters (e.g: Vegeta is the lord of a pirate tripulation made up of Ussop, Trunks, etc. but we don´t know how or why this pirate tripulation was formed) and on top of all that, it´s really short! (While One-Shots usually strives for 55-60 pages length, Cross Epoch strives for... 19 pages). The art is really good, combining both the artistic strengths of Toriyama and Oda. What I found surprising, and overall the best thing of this One-Shot, is that Toriyama draws the Dragon Ball characters, while Eiichiro Oda draws the One Piece characters, and it feels nice not having both blend into a single style. Overall, if you have the curiosity of finding out what is Cross Epoch, go ahead, the One-Shot isn´t long and it has some good art. But if what you´re looking for is a compelling story that unites both Dragon Ball and One Piece... well this isn´t the way to go. At all.

Platinum End review
Alright Platinum End has finally reached its end and here is my review about it .
Starting off from the beggining, Ill not tell the usual sinopse and just go straight up to the point hoping you read it all chapters like myself SO the story imo fall off after Metropoliman arc and the whole idea about angels and an ''opposite'' for Death Note that deals with Shinigamis is awesome! I think you can say that the author achieved what he wanted by that , after the whole fighting on Metros arc the story changes for more ideals and passing throught a message for the reader about the God Candidates and who will become God in the end and even after its conclusion many will say that its not what they expected and I can understand that but its more about a reflection in the end. I wasnt much of a fan of the final chapter but I get it .. and I kinda liked and disliked in some points .. Well my final thoughs are be aware and do not expect a shounen with the usual stuff and be more open minded before any childish reviews . Platinum End its unique in its own way and I loved the path they took in and hoping for a sucess and warm welcome on the animation or future plans.
