Wow where to start with this manga...
It really opens your eyes to the lives that some deaf people actually have to live through although I think this story was just slightly exaggerated. The story was new to me and to me it captured a sort of mixed message about people and outcomes of seemingly harmless actions. It kept me reading by how I actually wanted to see how their lives ended up after going through what they went through. Lots of drama and a bit of romance mixed in.

The art was not light but it was not dark either. It seemed more realistic and dramatic than other manga which made it stand out. It showed the characters and their feeings very well and it matched the mood perfectly. Even so, I give it an 8 because sometimes there were a lot of things happening at once and sometimes it was a little too dramatic. I guess you could also say I have my own preference for manga styles.

The characters were all unique in some way although sometimes it would be a little excessive. Their actions wouldn't always make sense to me and I often questioned what they were thinking when they did what they did. It felt like some of the characters only had a single trait each which did progress the plot but still made me skeptical of the characters intentions. It doesn't seem like much of the supporting characters became developed but again I couldn't tell even at the end.

The enjoyment was still very good as whole because of the crazy characters and then the unique story...it made me read even late at night. I really did not know what could've happened at the end and it made me want to know.
Overall this manga is great for fans of drama and lots of sadness dealing with bullying, suicide, friendship and love. May even give you a new perspective on things. Try it out.

Zeniya-kun no Koi wa Kaneshidai is a decent romance series. The story focus on main female(fukusone) is in dept to main male(zeniya) and has to pay him back in order to seperate with him according from the accordance. The main male character personality is interesting, All I can say is He is basically a manga version of mr krabs (his passionate in money). The main female is generic but I still like her as a character along with every support cast. I like the relationship between Zeniya and Fukusone and their relationship progression but not enough on Ninodere and Zouzen.

I like every character and I don't have anything I hate about it. However I can see some people found it a generic and the art style is nothing special.

The ending is a little bit disapoint, I wish this serie continue or atleast the author use this manga as a progression for a new project.


For whoever read this review I'm sorry if my english look weird :) this is my first review on a not well-known manga.

On the frontiers of death, Osamu Tezuka continued to write manga.
Ludwig B is one of them, and what a pity he's part of the unfinished manga gods... it's sad.

This work is inspired by the life of the famous musician Ludwig Van Beethoven. In a historical context with more or less difficult conditions, where the aristocracy reigns and wars are common, this story tells how the young composer created a path to glory and the recognition of his masters, while undergoing the repeated persecutions of the noble Franz Creustein, the main antagonist of history.

It is an unfinished work unfortunately, but that in only two volumes, there are many elements that deserve a shower of praise!

First of all, the transcription of the historical context is beautiful. One can feel that Tezuka has learned about the Western mores and customs of the time. In his manga, he has these elements perfectly at his disposal to create a rather particular atmosphere, which is sometimes heavy when the nobles intervene through the dialogues, and sometimes gentle when it's the lower classes that occupy the stage. This opposition between the nobles and the rich is perfectly marked in the manga, and the contrast is very good executed, which gives great power to the tragic side of the manga. Each more or less sad element of the manga comes to impact the reader. This sadness, often evoked by the disarray of the main character, enhances the fatality of the manga and the helplessness of others against the great strengths of the era.

Then, Tezuka displays all his talent and mastery by bringing a very interesting representation of the music. Most of the very good manga about music have all a personal representation of the music. It can be quite explosive like works like "Shiori Experience" or "Beck", or sometimes softer and more imaginative like "Piano no Mori" or "Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso". Tezuka is rather in the in-between, and plays on the personality and the passing emotion of the main character to represent differently than the music. As a result, when he finds the inspiration, it's quite thunderous, and when on the contrary we're in listening passages, it's much more imaginative. and you can feel all the beauty of the symphonies evoked in the story. It's very smart and it shows the care taken in the storytelling.

There are also some fairly innovative layout ideas. At one point in the story, Tezuka decides to break the codes of classical comics by removing the dialogue bubbles and classical composition. I'd never seen that before and it really appealed to me. I found myself in front of a composition with a setting similar to the painting of the time, and where each box was associated with a single word, a single sentence ... It was disturbing, but it just sort of crept into the story in a very natural way. So another element of genius, and that's why we can regret that it is unfinished ... did the master still have such great ideas in his hat?

Finally, as said before, there is a particular care in the construction of the characters and in the retranscription of the historical context by Tezuka.Indeed, from the language elements, the dialogues, the scenery and the costumes, to the characters' behaviour ... Everything is successful. I found it very difficult to see the situation of the commoners, and I also grit my teeth when the nobles abused their position. An appreciable work which gives more flavour to this work...

But unfortunately I repeat, it is unfinished. I think in my humble opinion, that if the master had finished his work, Ludwig B would probably settle down as one of his best works, without any hesitation. All the elements put in place could only confirm my opinion. A goldsmith's work, to be read by anyone interested in Osamu Tezuka ...

a combination between the goat and a great show/manga will result in a great manga right?

WRONG!

the problems with it are the exact same problem the editor tells mr.maincharacter in the first chapter, nothing is bad, but nothing is good either there is nothing to be found in it, it's worthless, empty.

what would you like to see in a manga? the answer is most likely not in the time paradox ghost writer.

the characters are as plain as it gets, what even drives the main character to do whatever he does? we never know, he just does it, there is hardly any conflict and thus hardly any story
until the "main plot" starts.

the characters are also like the characters in his manga, they are just energetic without any substances, it really does feel like the manga is criticizing itself.

someone might say that s;g was like that too, but the difference is that s;g was building up the world, the plot and the characters.

the time paradox ghost writer doesn't build up anything, nothing at all, and thus when the BIG PLOT TWIST (that they totally didn't copy from s;g) kicks in, i simply have no reason to care.

the characters are the same characters you will see everywhere else, if you watch anime you have seen them many times before

the story goes exactly where you think it will go, a battle manga between the mangakas, but we already saw that in bakuman, the fact that there is a life on the line doesn't add any tension, tension is created by being attached to the characters, not by having something big on the line.

but to be fair to the show, the art is pretty solid, it is probably the only good thing you will see in this manga.

overall rating: 2/10 (but i guess you already know)

This manga makes me laugh, because of the way that it doesn't take suicide seriously. The MC is an average copy and paste highschool boy who is suicidal, he was randomly walking down his alway when he bumped into a girl with an eyepatch and accidentally picked up her notebook to read a "suicide notebook" the story really just consists of the characters finding a way to commit suicide. So why should you read this manga? because it's funny of how it doesn't take itself seriously and also for that really good scanlation translate and the art in the manga is very good for me. I'm not sure what the end goal of this manga is but it is very dumb not going anywhere? don't expect much.

If dark humor, ecchi/borderline hentai, twisted story setting is something you can't get over don't bother yourself with reading this manga you are not going to enjoy this. But if you like Prison School or similar shows where your common sense becomes bizzare and what is bizzare to you is a common sense here then get reading because it's a joyous and amazing experience.

(Note: Just relax, chill out, I'm afraid this manga is not exactly a piece for you if you value morals too high and too seriously.)


Story - polarizing, dark brilliant humor skirmishing with seriousness are the main horses pulling this manga ahead (together with first-rate art)

Here it can go from nothing much to ridiculously great it depends on a sort of person you are, it's difficult to judge this as there is generally not much serious happening but also a lot. Humor and grotesque situation switching mood with serious scenes can suddenly appear and disappear from panel to panel, it's wholesome.

I find this humor and setting and how the author creates contrast and depth even at a completely banal occasion such as putting on clothes exhilarating but I fully understand there will be people who won't like this at all and give a low score here that's how different this manga is.


Art - amazing, dynamic

There's not much to say here just watch and experience pure joy.
The artist is highly skilled, his figure drawing skills are superb, I want to mainly highlight these areas:

1. Dynamic camera work and depth (skill to work with camera is very often the weakest part of manga authors/artists but not in this case, author can work with a camera like a seasoned professional pushing angles that you won't see in majority (if at all) of manga or anime you ever see, great perspective and action.

2. Figures. Author's skill at drawing figures is something extraodinary. It's so entrancing. He can pull a serious casual state as well as very sexy pose perfectly.

3. Facial expressions, here the author excels and goes beyond again. You won't see this in majority of manga out there so if this style compels you and you are a fellow budding artist I highly suggest studying this mangaka and his previous work, it's worth it I can promise you that. Suggesting an artist worth to be studied from hopefully says enough even to you as a reader of mangas about how alluring it is.

4. Form and depth, simplification of forms and structure as you see in anime, manga and other comic styles results in the lack of form, the artists does a great job at pushing out of this trap to deliver lively drawings while keeping true to manga style. The author is not the only one out there with this amazing skill and it certainly takes tremendous amount of work to create a piece like this but it's always a great experience for anyone seeing this.
Again just go and check for yourself to see, if nothing else just for the artwork it's worth it to at least check covers and some panels to see something less generic and expand your brain's visual library.


Characters - hillarious, solid

There will be more depth to characters than you would expect, there will aso be times when you expect more depth and nothing else comes.

Overall characters are great to follow, I enjoy watching them and can't wait to learn more. There are certainly some very obvious parts from the beginning as the author let's us see it through his art but here comes the catch - a big one - the author is not known for following your usual anime/manga plot lines and character developments and you can bet that it's not going to be any different here so overall nobody but the author can tell what is actually going to happen to the main characters. This is certainly a driving force behind the development throughout the story (I personally find Prison School's ending pretty hillarious as it's the kidn of humor and development I like and find entertaining but there is a huge number of people who don't like it and find it BS so be aware you have been warned).

Situations characters are put at, how they are artistically and humorously portraited and how they react and overcome (or well just get through) them is a satisfying and a great ride.


Enjoyment - top notch

I'd be repeating myself here, previous points I believe put the pieces together to see how well I enjoy this manga. So just a few maybe negative points for you potential readers.

The manga heavily depends on sexy art form, silly banal scenes with a serious look (difficult to explain but imagine Prison School, Grand Blue, Gintama, ...), dark and sometimes very dry humor (it's amazing but it really has to click with you otherwise you really won't like it), dynamics of development and camera, expressive art (especially emotionally).

My main advice is, do not expect anything, do not get serious, take it easy, relax, turn your brain off and just enjoy the ride.


Overall - definitely worth of recommendation as well as a purchase with a little but

There is a lot to recommend here for a like minded person. If you want something unusual, something fun, something that will make you see situations from angles you would never expect, something humorous, something with extraordinary art, and something a bit lewd. This is for you.
But be aware that this manga and mangaka don't take itself, you the reader or genre in general too seriously so if you find this BS this work is just not for you, pass it aside and go for your next piece, it's perfectly fine and understandable.

Unfortunately this is also a breaking point and the biggest negative point I can find about this manga and the author, if you are not into this kind of thing you are not going to enjoy it, it's not about average it's either you really like it or you just don't. There is really nothing in the middle, some people like Gintama and some people can't stand it, it either clicks with you or not and it's the same here with Raw Hero, you either clicked with this kind of siliness or not.

I did not mention specifics of story as there is a summary but Raw Hero is certainly a raw hero, unusual, hillarious, beautiful and different.

As a purchase, art is worth studying and the manga itself worth of your collection too, that's why I can highly recommend this even if you want just something beautiful to look at or just relax and laugh at how your usual world of villains and heroes can just be so different yet so fascinating, just dont' be too serious about it.

I am only 5 chapters in and I have become certain this is not something you should read if you have any concern about your browser history.
The main character seems the be a pedophile in denial, and there are few attractive female characters that could be classified as legal.

But that's not why your going to read it is it.
The easiest way to describe this series was made by a reader on one of its chapters.

Oh, and by the way, its uncensored. So enjoy that you fucking lolicon.

UPDATE: I've now read up to chapter 11, and even though this story is still ridiculous, I've gotten used to it and it's gotten better. The chance for the author to save itself in writing a romance is slim, but it's there and it's working towards that. So my hopes are high.

Right off the bat, if you're looking for a comedic ecchi that has you laughing and getting turned on at the same time, this isn't it. You're going to be rolling your eyes more than anything. The first chapter essentially sets up the entire plot. When you read it you're going to absolutely die from wondering how in the hell does someone come up with this shit. So you're probably asking yourself "Then why did you keep reading it".. Well I have to give everything a shot. Listen, Darling in the Franxx had some of the most cringey 6 starting episodes but guess who stuck through it and cried like a bitch at the end of the season? My point is I hoped it got better, and I would say it did. You begin to see a sort of interesting dynamic between the two main characters. I'm going to keep reading to see where the author wants to lead this whole story, but I will remain firm (and I'm sure many others will too) that the plot itself is just ridiculous.

In this touching futuristic short story, mankind lives underground, hidden from the devastated, polluted surface. Two SBANTs (androids) strive to understand who they are, and reach the sky, unseen for so long. Will they go beyond being mere machines?

This was very satisfying for such a short story. There was an aspect that was never explained, but it really wasn't necessary. I wished the story was longer, so I could have gotten to know the side characters better! We really only get to know a few characters really well. The story is filled with longing: to remember erased memories, and fulfill dreams made with human friends. In all, very good.

Short and simple.

Given that it's seven chapters short and it covers a span of five years, the mangaka did a really good job. Actually I could say with all certainty that if it would have been longer it would have felt like it dragged don.

It's about what happens after, after the initial butterflies pass and all that's left is you with your significant other. The challenges they face and how to overcome them.
You don't feel lost even as time passes. You don't fall in love with the characters but you do feel for them and understand them.

The characters are regular people. They could actually be just a random couple you see everywhere. I hope that makes sense.
Nothing is exaggerated and it's easy to understand the cause and effect. The cause is what made me mad, just because you watch someone throw their relationship down the drain for no good reason.

It's worth a read and since it's seven chapters, why not?
