"An Innocent Relationship" is a story around immoral gags in a mildly-aware setting, not one of depth and intriguing character development.

This had potential to be much more than it is. At its best, the story is around anxiety troubling relationships and how not being open enough can lead to dissatisfaction. For a time the MC makes poor choices that seem to be building up to some bigger point, but nothing strong enough comes of it. Because of this, many readers will come to hate the main character - who honestly is pretty immature beyond what I'm about to go into. There's a lot of understandable poor decision-making due to anxiety and low self-esteem, but the thing is the story itself is way too forward in placing this MC in tempting situations. It's like being fed leading questions in an interview, the story goes way too far to the point of being comically absurd. That may have been the goal from the get-go, but it sure is a shame considering how well it was starting off. When looking at how well a vaguely similar manga like "Velvet Kiss" did in terms of character development, it's hard for "An Innocent Relationship" to hold a candle to anything noteworthy.

If you can stomach through some horrible decisions and some increasingly selfish thinking, the manga can be a bit of fun. However, even I (who is usually of the most sympathetic of readers) grew extremely irritated with the MC - hoping the worst for him so he'd get smacked some sense into him.

Virgin na Kankei Is about a guy that gets with a girl way out of his league. He's an average guy with not much promise of a future that ends up with his supervisor and they have to keep the relationship a secret. Same old story at the start really, but through out the series they go through hard times with each other and with their own loved ones. Through all this they try to make it work the best they can.

Story is a little cookie cutter coworker love octagon. Since no one knows they're going out they each have people trying to get with them. Seeing that they have to keep their dating a secret they're obligated to humor the other parties (again kind of cookie cutter but other wise it would have been a short series).

Kimijima is the main male protagonist character that's in love with Kana the main female protagonist character. Kimijima has many flaws (like not being able to keep it in his pants) that impede his relations with Kana. Kana on the other hand is a well bred, highly educated, attractive and successful women that has many admirers. Kimijima is deeply in love with her but doesn't know what he means to her. She has a fear of being hurt that comes from her first marriage so she can't speak her feelings.

I really enjoyed reading this one. It did have some very nilla sex scenes that I'm sure worn't vital, but I'm sure they thought they needed them to sell it.

Overall it was a good read that was easy to follow (for even me a.d.d. kid). A lot of the stuff that the mains went through could have been avoided if they would speak their minds and not just go along so not to hurt anyone. Even with that said it's a pretty long series but it's worth looking at.
