This selection is a series of one-shots. Overall I found the stories unimpressive and rather trite. They are unoriginal with female leads that thoroughly repulse me. As a woman who thinks of herself as extremely independent, intelligent, and mature I find when looking at these females they are horrible depictions of classless women who actually abuse their male counterparts through their actions. In many of the relationships in this manga there is no trust with the male catering relentlessly to the female while the women are presume to know how they think or range from being wishy-washy with the males affections to completely ridiculous in their believed victimization. It doesn't take much to guess that the stories were frustrating.

First one-shot (series= 3 chapters):
The male lead is actually extremely endearing. He's one of the "don't judge the book by his cover or actions." ^_^ He's extremely thug like in appearance as well as uber hot. A good example is that he has that "goth look" going with the piercing from nose to ear. He's the head of a gang and goes to a very "gang-oriented" school. He's continuously getting into fights. However his "real" persona is shy, sweet, horribly vulnerable and he comes from a wealthy family and not as dumb as he appears. He's so cute. Now the female lead is the studious, smart, self-righteous type. She is most definitely arrogant, wishy-washy with others feelings, and ridiculously insecure. I can't stand her. Sure my statements may seem a bit TOO brutal. However, when looking at the entire story objectively that is how she comes across. She abused his feelings continuously through the story and when she realized that she had the power to hurt him horribly then she goes through her whole "he hates me"...."How could I do that?" crap. The first time it happens, fine. But she does it 2-3 more times. It's frustrating as hell because I reached a point where I wanted him to get someone better. I know there may be some out there will love this story so I won't say it's completely horrible, but I did not appreciate it at all.

Second one-shot:
I think what really made me like this story is the art. There is really nothing else beyond it. Girl like guy who's part of club, but to join girl must deal with Pres of club who's an uber hot guy. Prez of club likes girl secretly and tortures and blackmails her into doing things so he could be near her and she can forget about other guy who she likes. Throughout the process, "I hate you..." must have been screamed out so many times that I thought that should be the title of the story. All in all it was boring as hell but the art was breathtaking. The male was prick who blackmailed and abused girl as his way of showing his affection. It is so rare to find any characters who establish "healthy" relationships. And she's so self-righteous its disgusting because she basically swapped her pride to win a guy. Give me a break. All in all the characters were lack luster and unimpressive.

Third one-shot:
Blackmail...what a convenient way for a desperate person to get a girl or guy. However, you'd think because the guy is gorgeous and this and that he'd be above blackmailing someone into a relationship. Girl liked a guy...so to impress him she goes to work in a questionable job to earn enough to date him. Other guy took picture of girl in rather compromising positions. By the way girl hates Christmas because of this fiasco. When girl was going to give a gift to guy she likes she finds out that said guy is in a relationship with her close friend. So she's miserable. Well she gets blackmailed by other guy who likes her to date him. Sad...isn't it?!Then she later falls for him. *eye-roll*

I don't know how many ways to say cliched, silly, and sexist for all the stories. Overall all the relationships were unhealthy and sad.

The art detail was impressive and well drafted. However, the stories left me jaded and unimpressed.

This is a manga consisting of 3 one-shots. Overall, the stories did nothing for me.

The first one was about a strong, handsome delinquent who falls in love with an intelligent girl who was supposed to go to an elite High School but on the day of the entrance exam, she, unfortunately, got sick and therefore stayed home. After that she had to attend a horrible school for rather unintelligent people. One day, when she is supposedly being attacked, the guy saves her. And then they start to fall in love, blah blah blah blah blah. There was absolutely nothing original to it. More over, I don't even think it had a story line, and if it did, it was poorly executed. All I remember is that the guy got in a lot of fights and was the leader of some gang or whatever, but when he was around this one girl he blushed and acted like a little kid. I mean, I'm sure some people like that type of stuff, but I guess I wanted something deeper, or something not as cliché.

The second one just kind of annoyed me. The heroine is at first crushing on the vice president because he 'saved her'. So she tries to get on the school council so that she could get close to him. But the president, the one who gets to decide who gets on the school council, ends up using the girl. For her to get on the school council, she has to be his assistant. Then he ends up pretty much demeaning her but somehow she ends up liking him. I'd like to think that no girl who has self-respect would let herself be treated like that...

The last one was very cliché. A guy blackmails the protagonist into dating him for five days with pictures. And for some reason, the girl hates Christmas. I'm not really sure what that had to do with anything, but apparently the pictures used for blackmail were taken on that day. I really don't think thats a good reason for hating a day. And we all know that although the guy completely violates the girl, she's not going to stick up for herself but instead will fall in love with him.

Stories: 4
It was decent. I can't say it's great, but I guess it wasn't completely, hopelessly awful. I kind of wanted to just drop it by the time I got to the last chapter, but I wanted to add another COMPLETED manga to my list, so I trudged through the last 30 or so pages. It's tolerable. That's it.

Art: 9
Now this was my favorite part of the manga. I know for a fact that if the art wasn't this beautiful, I would have dropped it at the very beginning. The art was gorgeous.

Character: 3
Well, for one, the girls had no backbone and sometimes I wanted to slap them and tell them to just stop being so stupid. I mean, it looks as if they don't like being violated but they still let it happen. Then they say 'Oh my god, I can't believe I let that happen.' Over and over and OVER again. As for the guys, the first one was supposedly dangerous and everything but then was like mush when he was with the girl. The other two guys were just controlling.

Enjoyment: 4
Well, I guess I had a good time getting angry at the characters so that has to count for something, right? The story itself wasn't the best but bearable if your bordering on insane because of being very bored.

Overall: 5
The only reason it's a 5 is because the art was stunning. The story was...eh. Nothing special. Just another manga that's not going to be memorable.
