I thought it was very sad. I wish that there was more to it and it had a happy ending. The story relies a lot on metaphors to get a lot of the story across. I loved the art. It's very Korean, and I personally prefer that over the usual shojo manga style. Not much character development, but then it is a one shot. Even though it didn't give you a lot of details about the characters, the way it was written still enabled the reader to empathize with them, which was really a testament to the author's capabilities. I liked it, even though sad stories aren't usually my thing.

When I started this one-shot, I imediatly though:" wow, that art is great" It's stylish and anatomicly correct. But then, when I had finished it, I found out I had no idea what the story was about. When someone explained I was like:" oooh... I'd have never guessed".Maybe I'm just not very smart, but I really didn't understand the story at all.

I really liked this manhwa. You can't read the words' literal meaning because it involves a lot of figurative language and symbolism.
Let me just clear this up - the manhwa isn't really a story, it's more like a secret being told.
It's cryptic - yes, even the title itself is an analogy that fits the two protagonists perfectly; the first two lines are also used as a comparison to a something you can't have no matter how hard you wish for it.
Sure the main focus wasn't romance, rather it was just the love that's secretly harbored. Also, the protagonists accept their love for the other and don't struggle with thought's that are usually found in other mangas - like "I can't be by his side" or anythiing like that.
The acceptance of the reality of their situation and the figurative language used to convey the purity and the depth of their love shows that even love that cannot be conveyed is beautiful.
My first thoughts after reading this were "Wow. This is a work of art."

In my opinion....The story is may just be one shot but behind every word emphazes a meaning. Such as comparing their feelings to things that surrounded them. Since their parents marry they became brothers and sisters. Even though their not blood related their love is forbidden. I'm not really into tragic or something sad endings but i find this story interesting. Maybe the author wants us to wide open our imagination and understanding in every word. I wish it will have a sequel where it shows something more on the character side... I want to know whether their love will progress or just be sister and brotherly love...

The story is about love. A brother and a sister, who loves each other as a man and a woman, but can't be together because they're siblings. However, they aren't blood-relate because the girl's mom remarried the guy's dad.

The art is great, but I felt that the mangaka could've used the space a little better: it felt like e.g. backgrounds were left out sometimes. While I understand that it's a common thing, I still felt that something was missing... Sometimes the girl's hair was black or white, and I almost thought she wasn't the same person at first.

The characters are a bit hard to understand, since it's a oneshot. I felt like I couldn't fully comprehend them, even though I understood bits, like how they liked to tease each other. Still, you get the main thing - that they're in love but hindered by their parents marriage. The feelings of sadness and their wish to be free, and be together is conveyed very, very well.

The enjoyment was very good. It's just 24 pages so it was a lot of story pushed into there, though you didn't feel that it was too rushed. I've read the other reviews, and I don't really understand why they couldn't understand the story. I mean, if you read the summary you'll be fine.

Overall it's a nice oneshot with the art as it's main strength. The symbolic meanings of the title was very clever of the mangaka, because it's basically the summary of the story; a cat that loved a fish. Cats eat fish, right? Therefore, they can't be together. I think you should read this manga even if you don't have the time to, 'cause it's so short. I read it in 3-5 minutes and felt it really was worth it.
